How to join the Lab

Check out the guidelines below for those who wish to enter grad school or undertake an undergrad research program.
For those interested in entering grad school:
- Students interested in pursuing a master's or PhD degree under Elaine's guidance must have mastery of generative theory, having attended syntax courses.
- Students interested in pursuing a master's or PhD degree under Raquel's guidance must have mastery of generative theory, having studied phonology disciplines.
- The candidate must choose a topic for research, conduct a bibliographic search on the topic and prepare the project.
- All of these steps can be done with the advisor's help: contact her and set up a meeting to talk.

For those interested in undertaking an undergrad research program:
- Students interested in working with Elaine should ideally have mastery of generative theory, having attended at least one discipline of generative syntax.
- Students interested in working with Raquel should ideally have a mastery of generative theory, having attended at least one phonology discipline.
- Together with the supervisor, the candidate must choose a topic for research, conduct a literature search on the topic and prepare the project.
