Learning of conventional genitive relatives in BP

This research aims to investigate relativization strategies with the pronoun "cujo", as well as the influence of the mother tongue learning context on the learning of this syntactic construction. The hypothesis of this work is that conventional genitive relatives are not natural and are not fully learned through formal education, being avoided even by adults. Thus, we intend to identify and describe the factors involved in this unnaturalness, such as insufficient input over the acquisition period, late teaching, or computational structure involved.

Sound characteristics of spoken Polish and Portuguese in the municipality of Cruz Machado, Paraná

Investigates the productivity of the nasalization process in Brazilian Portuguese in a Polish-Portuguese bilingual community located in the municipality of Cruz Machado, in the interior of the state of Paraná. The study analyzes how the productivity of the phenomenon varies according to the generation the speakers belong to, taking into account linguistic variables (such as syllable stress, syllable structure) and extralinguistic ones (such as the degree of exposure to Portuguese, education level, type of bilingual, family environment, age of BP acquisition, and possible influences from the Polish structure).
